JAVAN, in a news report, quotes MP Abdolreza Moradi of the Majlis principlist faction as saying that reformists should admit their mistakes and officially apologize to the people for the allegations of vote rigging in the 2009 presidential election. Moradi also said reformists should undertake and announce that they will not level any allegation against the Islamic system and that they will abide by the law. He added any political group that wishes to contest the March parliamentary elections, should meet some conditions. He said they should obey the law and accept decisions by the Guardian Council. So if reformists meet these conditions, they can run for elections, he noted. Moradi also said that reformists should clearly delineate their position on the seditious movement. 

FARS news agancy, in a news report, has quoted MP Ali Akbar Aqaii as saying that the issue of Lake Urmia is a national issue. He stated that the politicization of the issue would be regarded as a betrayal of the people, particularly the people in East and West Azarbaijan provinces. It is the strategy of Iran’s enemies to use the country’s internal issues to serve their own interests, he commented. U.S. officials have recently claimed that uranium can be found on Urmia Lake bed. 

YOUTH JOURNALIST CLUB, in a news report, says that Malaysia has recently turned into a safe haven for the Iranian nationals charged with financial corruption and the counter-revolutionary elements. The report also says that thousands of Iranians are currently studying in Malaysia. It states that many families think that a bright future is awaiting their children in this Muslim country unaware of the fact that their children would be subject to threats posed by corruption network; besides the degrees conferred on graduates by a number of Malaysian universities are not valid.
